District Court Record Request
Court records and files are not subject to disclosure under Michigan’s Freedom of Information Act (FIOA), as the judicial branch of government is exempt from that act. Court records are public except as otherwise indicated by law, court rule, or court order MCL 15.232(h)(iv).
