The Shiawassee County Department of Buildings and Grounds maintains the assets of Shiawassee County on behalf of the County Board of Commissioners. Four full-time staff currently maintain 11 core buildings, 23 various outbuildings, 7 parks, and one cemetery. The department is responsible for not only the maintenance of county buildings and parks but also for ensuring that they are available for public use.
