Part-time In-Home Specialists (2)

In Home Specialists are responsible for providing:

• after-hour supervision
• supportive intervention
• probation monitoring
• life skills training
• conflict resolution

to delinquent youth.

Supervised by the Court Administrator with direction from Juvenile Caseworkers, these Specialists provide direct support and supervision to delinquent youth who are at risk of being placed out of their homes and/or returning from out of home placement.

These Specialists provide intervention through role modeling to teach/enhance good decision-making, positive communication and positive limit setting.

All visits are in-home after business hours – evenings/ weekends/holidays.

The Specialists are required to file documentation of all visits with the Court Administrator bi-weekly and attend bi-weekly team meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS – High school diploma, ability to work independently, evidence of good interpersonal and problem solving skills. Valid driver’s license and willingness to work flexible evening and weekend hours required.

PAY
$14.16/hour. 10 hours per week.
